“Behind the Scenes: What It Takes to Run a Community Festival”

On behalf of the Wappingers Falls Business & Professional Association (WFBPA), thank you for being a part of our 2025 Festival at the Falls!  Whether you joined us as a vendor, volunteer, performer, or guest — we’re incredibly grateful for your presence and energy.

We especially appreciate those of you who took the time to share your feedback with us. Your voices help shape our future events, and we’re genuinely listening. While the unexpected weather brought its own challenges, your flexibility and good spirits helped make the day a true success.   

A Huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it possible.  You may have seen the board members and festival planners wearing the Orange T-shirts.  Also, the Interact club from our local high school wearing the yellow vests.  Each one gave countless hours of time, energy, and heart to bring this event to life. Without each and every one of them, the Festival at the Falls would not have been possible.

From getting permits, insurance, advertising, marketing materials, placing up banners, getting print materials, ordering porta potties and garbage cans, finding entertainment, and of course the big attraction the bounce all day houses, which are a favorite for families!  To directing vendors and guests, answering questions, helping with set up and take down and cleaning up after the event, our volunteers made it happen!  Thank you all.
