Business Breaks and Branding
This month, we pressed pause on our usual schedule of mingles, meetups, Breakfast with the Board, Lunch & Learns, and networking events, and traded it for a mini retreat at beautiful Bowdoin Park.
We gathered, shared snacks, collaborated in breakout and branding sessions, and enjoyed meaningful conversations surrounded by the beauty of our community park and the importance of what we do professionally for the community. Sometimes, stepping away from the office is exactly what it takes to spark fresh ideas and strengthen relationships.
When was the last time you took a business break?
You and your team deserve intentional moments to reconnect, recharge, and create space where creativity and collaboration naturally rise to the surface. Investing in your people helps build a culture where learning, innovation, and great ideas are shared freely.
During our retreat, we explored:
✨ Overcoming self-limiting mindsets to unlock greater performance and creativity.
✨ The power of your message and why it matters.
✨ How your brand and presentation, both in person and online, tell your story before you ever say a word.
Looking for a fresh way to energize your team? Here are five fun business break ideas:
☀️ Take It Outside – Hold a meeting or brainstorming session in a local park or outdoor space.
🎨 Brand Refresh Workshop – Have everyone review your company's messaging, elevator pitch, or social presence and share ideas.
🧩 Creative Challenge – Split into small groups and solve a fun business scenario or innovation challenge together.
☕ Coffee & Connections – Skip the formal agenda and spend an hour getting to know one another beyond job titles.
🎤 Bring in a Guest Speaker – Invite someone to inspire your team with fresh perspectives on leadership, communication, branding, or professional growth.
If you're looking to inspire your staff, reach out to us! We'd love to come to your business and facilitate an engaging presentation or interactive workshop designed to help your team connect, communicate, and grow together.
