Beauty for the Homebound was born out of a 3 a.m. conversation between friends—one of those unexpected moments that spark something meaningful. My friend was searching Facebook Marketplace for a hairdresser who could come to his home to care for his aging parents. While I admired his dedication, I couldn’t help but worry about the risks of hiring someone without knowing if they were licensed or trustworthy. It hit close to home—my own parent no longer drives, and I’ve felt the same concern and helplessness.

That late-night chat turned into a mission: to create a safe, reliable, and compassionate platform connecting licensed beauty professionals with individuals who can’t easily leave their homes. Whether due to age, disability, or other circumstances, everyone deserves to feel confident and cared for. Beauty for the Homebound is more than a service—it’s a community built on trust, dignity, and the belief that beauty should be accessible to all.
