Greystone Programs, Inc. is a growing nonprofit human services agency dedicated to supporting children, adults and families with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, by enriching lives one person at a time.
Greystone has grown tremendously since our beginning, now offering exceptional services and life-enriching opportunities in seven counties for more than 650 children, adults, and families with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today, the flagship Individual Residential Alternatives (IRA), Greystone House, is home to seven men who function within the range of severe to profound intellectual disabilities; it is just one of the 18 homes Greystone now operates. Our services are available in Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster, and Westchester counties, and includes programs in residential and non-residential settings.
Greystone Programs utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an evidence-based and scientific approach to teaching essential skills for increased independence in home and community settings. ABA forms the foundation for teaching and supporting individuals to enhance their communication, socialization, daily living, and vocational skills.
